This Privacy Policy explains how Itinerak handles information when you visit our website, subscribe to our services, or use the Itinerak WordPress plugin and itinerary planning technology.
Information We Collect
Itinerak is designed to operate with minimal personal information. Travelers can use the itinerary planner without creating an account or providing their name, email address, or other personal details.
Information from travelers
When a traveler generates an itinerary, the Itinerak plugin sends only the following route preferences to the Itinerak API:
- Country
- City
- Trip duration
- Trip type
These selections are used to generate and return the requested itinerary. They do not, by themselves, identify the traveler. The itinerary planner does not require the traveler’s name, email address, account, or other personal information.
Information from Itinerak customers
When a website owner subscribes to Itinerak, we may receive the email address provided for communication and the website domain associated with the subscription or license.
This limited information is used to manage the subscription, provide the appropriate license, and communicate with the customer when necessary.
Itinerary Planner & API Requests
The Itinerak WordPress plugin communicates with the Itinerak server when a visitor requests a travel itinerary. This communication is necessary to generate the requested route and return it to the website.
The itinerary request contains only the four travel preferences required by the route-generation system:
These values describe the requested trip, not the person requesting it. They are processed so that the Itinerak server can generate the appropriate itinerary and return the result to the WordPress website.
Itinerak does not require a traveler to provide a name, email address, user account, or other personally identifying information in order to generate an itinerary.
Customer & License Information
The information required from Itinerak customers is intentionally limited. When a website owner subscribes to an Itinerak plan, we may receive the following information:
Used for subscription-related communication, support, and other necessary service messages.
Used to associate and manage the Itinerak license for the website using the plugin.
We use this information only as necessary to provide and manage the Itinerak service, maintain the relevant license, and communicate with the customer when required.
Itinerak does not require customers to provide unnecessary personal profile information in order to use the service.
Payments
Payments for Itinerak subscriptions are handled externally through PayPal. Itinerak does not process payments directly through its website or plugin.
When payment is required, the customer is provided with the appropriate PayPal payment details and completes the transaction through PayPal.
- Credit or debit card numbers

- PayPal account credentials
- Other sensitive payment credentials
Payment information submitted through PayPal is processed by PayPal in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices. Customers should review PayPal’s privacy information to understand how PayPal handles information related to their transactions.
How We Use Customer Information
Itinerak collects only the limited information provided by customers when subscribing to the service: an email address and the website domain associated with the subscription.
We use this information only for purposes directly related to providing and managing the Itinerak service.
- The website domain is used to associate and manage the appropriate Itinerak license.
- The email address is used for necessary communication related to the subscription, license, service, or support.
Sharing of customer information
Itinerak does not sell, rent, or trade customer email addresses or website domain information for advertising or marketing purposes.

How long we keep customer information
Itinerak retains the customer email address and website domain only for as long as they are reasonably necessary to manage the subscription, license, support, and related service administration.
When this information is no longer required for those purposes, it may be removed unless we need to retain it for legitimate administrative, legal, or record-keeping obligations.
How we protect information
We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect the limited customer information maintained by Itinerak against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.
No online system can guarantee absolute security, but keeping the amount of information we collect to a minimum is an important part of our approach to privacy.
Itinerak does not maintain personal traveler profiles. Customer information is limited to the email address and website domain required to manage the Itinerak service.

Because Itinerak collects only limited customer information, privacy requests are generally straightforward.
Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
You may ask what personal information Itinerak holds about you.

The Itinerak itinerary planner does not require travelers to provide personal information to generate a route. Therefore, Itinerak does not maintain personal traveler accounts or traveler profiles through the route-generation process.

Itinerak may rely on third-party services where necessary to operate specific parts of the service. Third-party providers operate independently and may have their own privacy policies and terms.
PayPal
Payments for Itinerak subscriptions are completed through PayPal. Customers complete payments directly through PayPal, and Itinerak does not collect or store credit card numbers, bank account details, PayPal credentials, or other sensitive payment information.
Information provided directly to PayPal is handled according to PayPal’s own privacy policy and terms.
External Websites & Services
The Itinerak website, documentation, plugin, or generated travel content may contain links to external websites or services. When a user follows an external link, the privacy practices and terms of the destination website or service apply.
Itinerak is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or data-handling policies of independent third-party websites and services.
Future Advertising & Sponsored Content
Itinerak may introduce advertising or sponsored content within travel itineraries or other parts of the service in the future. Advertising features are not currently part of the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If future advertising features involve additional third-party services, cookies, tracking technologies, or the processing of additional information, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain those practices before or when they become applicable.
