1. Respect people and boundaries

Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, discriminate against, humiliate or repeatedly contact someone who does not want further communication.

2. Respect friendship and messaging rules

Use the friendship system as intended. Private messaging is for eligible friends under the app's current rules.

Do not create alternate accounts or use technical workarounds to continue unwanted contact or bypass privacy, friendship or communication controls.

3. Protect personal information

Remember that screenshots and forwarded messages may exist outside your control.

4. Verify people independently

A profile, photo, username, city, distance or message is not proof of identity.

Be cautious of requests for money, emergency payments, gift cards, account codes, investments or personal documents.

Never send money or sensitive credentials simply because another user asks for them.

If something feels suspicious, stop the interaction and use appropriate reporting or support channels.

If you choose to meet someone discovered through Itinerak, make your own safety plan.

  • Prefer public places.
  • Tell someone you trust where you are going.

  • Attempts to obtain passwords, payment details or identity documents.
  • Exploitation of minors or facilitation of unsafe contact with minors.
  • Attempts to defeat privacy, visibility, friendship or security controls.
  • Illegal activity or content where prohibited by applicable law.

7. Reporting and urgent danger

If you encounter abuse, threats, suspicious behavior, impersonation, fraud or another serious safety concern, stop interacting where appropriate and contact Itinerak through Contact & Support .

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate local authority.

Itinerak is not an emergency-response service.

Do not rely on the app as a substitute for emergency services, law enforcement or other appropriate professional assistance.

8. Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, restrictions, removal of content where applicable, suspension, termination or other measures reasonably necessary to protect users and the service, subject to applicable law.

9. Limits of safety controls

No online service can verify every identity, prevent every harmful interaction or guarantee a user's safety.

These guidelines are intended to reduce foreseeable risks, but they cannot remove them completely.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, precautions and interactions.
